Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY)

www.hoby.org

This is the group that I mostly volunteer my time with.  I have been involved since I went through the program myself at age 15.  HOBY is an international organization dedicated to seeking out and developing leadership skills in high school sophomores.  We try to teach young people how to think, not what to think.  We achieve this by many means, but the primary way is to introduce the ambassadors (as the students are called) to various business, media, government, industry leaders.  Through question and answer sessions students get to see how these people became who they are today.

West Virginia Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (WVHOBY)

This is the state division of the HOBY program.  I do most of my stuff here.  Some of the closest bonds that I have ever made have been with the people of this program.

The Internet Movie Database

I'm here all the time for one thing or the other.  The site breaks down all the information for just about every movie, actor, actress, director, etc. you could ever imagine.

Love him or hate him, everyone has to admit that this sight is the one nexus where you can travel to all the major news outlets of the world.  If you want news fast and detailed, there is no better site to be found.

Harry Knowles may have gotten a little full of himself in recent years, but his crack staff of gorilla reporters are still the best people to have to find out what is happening in the entertainment industry.  It's nice to see these guys fighting for quality entertainments.
