NEW!!!  Updated 9/8/04!

It is time for another update...another kid another update!  What do you think of our little princess above?  She came into this world on 9/7/04 at 7:37AM (just as dad predicted!) weighing 7 lbs, 8 ozs and was 18.5 inches long.  We and her brother love her to death!!

A new website for pictures can be found here, tell us what you think!

Our photo site main page

Halloween and Thanksgiving 2002 - All Duncan, mostly!

Christmas Pics are coming soon!!

He is growing SO fast!  He is going through clothes sizes like Steve McNair through defenses!  He doesn't want to try to crawl, but is sitting on his own, tries to sit up, wants to walk so bad he can taste it:

Hiccough! - About 3 times longer than the earlier one, careful.

You can go to the photo album link below or click here to see a few pictures of Duncan in thumbnail, you can then click to see the larger picture (we are trying to be respectful of those of you like us who have crappy i-net connections!).  I also have a VERY quick movie you can download if you want to hear him give the nursery nurse what for!

our online photo album - All Duncan now, had to make room (lost the vacation pics from Mexico AND the cousin reunion, sorry.)

send us a message - Send us email!

Compco Football League information - The second season of our Madden PS2 football game, LOADED with info!

Maybe you would like to read some of my writing:

Letter to the Editor (published in 9/16/1998 Tennessean) - This is the second time I was ever published in a newspaper and the first time in the Tennessean.  Pretty exciting!  I had written many times but was never published.  I finally toned down my rhetoric (I used to end with "and this is why I do not subscribe to the liberal tripe you call a paper"...go figure!).  If I can dig up my first published letter, I will...it was on flag burning published in the Daily News Journal in Murfreesboro during the late 80's (I think).

Sometimes, There Are Warnings! (fall 1998) - Rayna's first visit to the Smokey Mountains...a VERY eventful weekend.  This is the first time I have written up an event in our lives.  One of my Mom's friends (B.J. Jenkins) did it for her vacation and I thought it was so neat that I had to try it for this UT game weekend in the Smokey's.

How I Spent My Summer of '99 or The Alter Call (fall 1999) - Not exactly funny but re-reading this one brought back lots of memories of that summer.  Our neighborhood needs work...it needs homeowners that want to get involved and a board that will promote it.  Unfortunately, we still do not seem to have either but we tried.  The old board is gone and the new one is better...somewhat.

Our Second Honeymoon or If I'm Not Spanish, Why is Montezuma Picking on Me? (July 2000) - I don't know when I'll go back to Mexico, but if you are not grossed out too easily, this one will make your sides split! Plus, it is almost a prologue to the next one!

"Ack, Is That A Rogue Wave" or "Just Sit Right Back and You'll Hear a Tale" (June 2001) - After we bought the boat and Rayna and I quit arguing when we were out on it, she wanted a story about our adventure.  I didn't think I had enough material though (or our arguing was just too close!) but from what others who read this one tell me, I had plenty of material!

"Just Sit Right Back and You'll Hear a Tale" Part II or "Honey, Let's get the 14 Footer because It'll Be Easier to Right..." (February 2002) - My second boat tale.  This one will give you chills!

"But I WANT To Go Camping" or "Nothing Ever Goes as Planned" (June 2002) - WOW, what an experience...having a baby, WOW!

I call this one "At Last" (November 2003) - This one is in 2 chapters and is as I sent it out via email.  I think this one has become one of my favorites.

Every time we go camping it is an adventure.  This Memorial Day trip was no exception.  Sometime I'll figure out to try things out before I unleash them on the family!

"Ya'll Come back now, ya hear!"
