Working my way up.

Q6600 # L737B255 (2.4GHz stock) Coretemp VID 1.2500v

Getting to 3.2GHz was pretty easy with a 9 multiplier. 1.3  Vcore BIOS, 1.288 Idle, 1.288 Load.

3.2 GHz

Tried many times to go higher even with a Vcore of 1.5 and could not get it to run higher without high load temperatures or should I say  higher than I liked. So I dropped the multiplier to 8, raised the FSB and BAM !! off we went. I had to up the Vcore to 1.325 due to lockup in prime after 30 minutes. I did not change any of the RAM timings from those above.

3.4 GHz

3.6 GHz

1.36875 Vcore BIOS, no change in RAM timings

If the chart does not display as an Excel spreadsheet you must download

and install Microsoft's Office XP Tool: Web Components (file owc10.exe).

Click the link below for the file  AND most likely requires using Internet Explorer.

Or view the PDF file. 3.6ghz spreadsheet.pdf

February 2008

I've ran this setup with the RAM Unlink for a few weeks and decided to see how benchmark's would compare running the RAM Linked and Synced Vs Unlinked. The benchmark's above are with the RAM unlinked.

Linked & Synced. Memory timing 4,4,4,12

        Unlinked. Memory timing 5,5,5,15
