Bootjack Boxers & Shepherds Welcome
Welcome to Bootjack Boxers & Shepherds' home on the web! We are a small in-home exhibitor located in California's San Joaquin Valley, near Fresno and a short driving distance from Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Mark was raised in the small mountain community of Bootjack, CA and that is the source of our kennel name. He has such fond memories of playing in the mountains, as a child. His German Shepherds were always by his side as playmates and protectors. I thought it was quite fitting to honor his childhood home in this way.

Our Philosophy
Our dogs have participated in obedience, therapy dog work and conformation. We are hoping to add agility in the near future. They live in our home with us, sharing our daily lives. We recommend extensive research into any breed you may be considering sharing your life with.
