I'm a 30-something computer geek by trade,
currently employed at
a sizeable Utah-based healthcare organization. I'm also a Warrant
Officer
in the U.S. Army Reserve, so hooah to all of you current and prior
servicemembers. In past lives I lived in Oak Harbor, Mt. Vernon, Seattle, and Tacoma, WA. I've been a burger flipper, bus boy, dish washer, office go-fer, old people assister, motel clerk, and data entry peon. I've also worked or volunteered my way through three different community radio stations, either as on-air host, music librarian, or program director. For fun I once scripted a 12-part serial for a community radio science fiction series. Right now I am currently busting my ass trying to get "real" about my writing. I suppose I am one of those aspirants who is just too dumb to quit. You'd think I'd get a clue from all those rejection slips! Alas, not yet... If you feel the need to know more, then try the obligatory blog. Or send me some e-mail. Thanks for visiting. If ever I achieve something truly worthy of note, you will be the first to know about it. -- Brad R. Torgersen |
