P.R.O.S. 

      

Mission Statement:

 

The Paranormal Researchers of Oregon Society (P.R.O.S.) is a volunteer organization dedicated to the investigation of ghostly activity, ufology, Big Foot, reincarnation, and other aspects of the paranormal.

 

Most human beings, including philosophers, intellectuals, and truth-seekers have, at one time or another, pondered the existence of supernatural forces. This ability to question the meaning of our lives, and what happens afterward, is what separates us from all other species.

 

In our search for evidence of the world beyond, we use both subjective and objective (or scientific) tools. We carry our subjective tools with us at all times—our five senses and, for many of us, our sixth or intuitive sense. All subjective evidence must, however, be substantiated by hard data. We are skeptical believers who are in search of solid proof.

 

As a team, we investigate claims of paranormal activity by collecting and critically analyzing data. This includes researching the history of the site of the suspected activity; interviewing the person(s) experiencing the phenomena; investigating the site with the tools of the trade (i.e., cameras, EMF detectors, recording equipment, thermometers, etc.); and reporting the findings to our clients.

 

As a research society, we not only conduct investigations, but we assist, train, and educate anyone who is interested in learning more about any aspect of the paranormal. We discourage people from using Ouija boards and we do not conduct séances. We do not use witchcraft or satanic rituals.

 

We are an ethical and professional organization and our membership is comprised of individuals with very high standards. We never charge a fee for our services and to quote a once-popular television series, we know “the truth is out there” and we intend to prove it.

We at P.R.O.S. would love to help you. If you’re having problems with uninvited spirits, please fill out the Client Questionnaire Form (coming soon) and submit it to us. Until we load the form you can use the contact page here on the site. Someone will then contact you to schedule an appointment for the investigation interview.

Once the investigation is complete, we will provide you with a full report of our findings. At that time, we will let you know if spirits are haunting you, or if the phenomena are normal.

Prior to our investigation, please think about what you would like us to do with the spirits, should we find any. For example, we can send them into the light, leave them alone, or just provide you with information about them.

                                  

Looking for new members 

We are always seeking to add gifted and experienced ghost hunters to our group. We are stationed in the Portland Metro Area.
