When determining the individual awards, all winners of the scratch scores are determined first.  If a score is high enough to qualify a both scratch and handicap award, the winner must take the scratch score award even though amount may be less.  For example, if a bowler qualified for a 2th high scratch series and the 1nd place handicap award, the bowler would have to take the scratch award.
