        About the Bremerton Tavern League
Women can bowl by purchasing a Men’s USBC card. Teams do not have to be sponsored by a licensed beverage establishment. Last season 23 women bowled in the league. During the 2006-7 season the weekly cost to bowl was $14.00. A link to the left showing last years 2006 -2007 league information provides a complete financial report showing all income and payouts. The report shows the following prize money distributions: 18 Team events to the County Assn. Tournament. $1,530.00 Jackpot Night $500.00 Point money for point won @ $11.09 per point $13,575 Total = $15,605 The average team received about $754.00 in point money. Last season Miller Brewing via Jennings Corporation paid $500 into the league prize fund and league members received discounted Miller beer pricing ($1.75 pounder’s and $5.50 pitchers) during league. Last season the league grew from 15 to 18 teams and based on recent inquiries the league expects to grow again in 2007.
