AP Chemistry Instructions

All parts of the report are typed except calculations which can be hand-written.

  1. Objective: What were you trying to do in this lab? (1- 2 Paragraphs typed)
  2. Strategy: What chemistry will get you to the objective? (1 paragraph and show equations)
  3. Data Table (typed)
  4. Calculations (always include percent error in calculations, can be hand-written)
  5. Conclusion (describe result, describe how errors affect results) (1-2 paragraphs)

Honors and College Prep Instructions

All parts of the report are typed except calculations which can be hand-written. The report should not exceed one page in length.

  1. Objective: What were you trying to do in this lab? (1 Paragraph typed)
  2. Data Table (typed)
  3. Calculations (always include percent error in calculations, can be hand-written)
  4. Conclusion (describe result, describe how errors affect results) (1-2 paragraphs)
