A recent logo design created for Pacific Northwest Sleep Center, LLC. The intent was to incorporate a detailed character image that would work for all print purposes (and resolutions). The artwork was rendered in Adobe Illustator from hand-drawn and photographic source.

World Development Report 2006 - Equity & Development
As a textbook illustrator, a surprising amount of the work you do is charts and graphs. This publication has some well designed figures. The major difficulty in their production was projecting the substantial spreadsheet data into a final legible and appealing format. The artwork was produced in Adobe Illustator.

This was a proposed layered paint scheme for a coach RV. Given that the subject is a great slab of machined metal and plastics, I sought to produce an organic design that softened the rectangular appearance and suggested motion. Both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop were used to render and compose this piece.

A large effort in developing immersive aviation training software is spent creating realistic, easily readable cockpit instrumentation. The trainee pilot not only looks to the computer screen to gauge physical attitude and placement in the simulated world, but also obtains all the indications of how the simulated aircraft is performing.
As an artist creating this instrumentation, I was always pursuing legibility and realism while producing artwork that used the smallest possible space on the computer screen. To maintain consistency in shadow, color, and resolution I usually chose illustration over adapted photography.
