Common name: Japanese Stewartia
Plant description:  Stewartia pseudocamellia is a bold, pyramidical shaped tree that features beautiful camellia like white flowers with orange anthers in mid-summer.  Fresh green leaves emerge in the spring and turn orange-red to purple in the fall. It has striking, exfoliating bark that is highlighted in winter.  Stewartia reache 30-40 feet tall and 20-25 feet wide.
