"Pamela returned from her early morning walk just as the sun was peeking around the corner of the carriage house. The air was crisp with the promise of autumn. She enjoyed the anticipation of a new season, making mental notes of the things she planned to accomplish before winter skiing began. This was her most prolific time of the year, when she stocked her portfolio with the sketches and watercolors that were so popular with her New York clients.
