This page was created for all consumers who are researching a conservatory or sunroom purchase. As in all commodities, there are a few manufacturers who produce a high quality product; there are many who produce an average quality product; and, there are those who produce an inferior product.
You may be considering any one of the many companies represented in these three categories. And, unless you are an informed consumer and have done your research, you may not have the knowledge base needed to recognize where each company deserves to be. In fact, many of these companies do not realize where they fall in the "pecking order".
The price of a product does not necessarily equate the quality of the product. A high quality product with less detail; limited design diversity; and, fewer options will be priced more affordably than a high quality, custom product with a wide range of optional embellishments. Your choice must be governed by your budget and design criteria. On the other hand, there will be high priced products that fall into the average quality and inferior quality bracket. You may wonder at the logic of that, but it is the truth; and, the uninformed consumer has allowed this to happen.
Nationwide advertising and name recognition is not always the best yardstick to use when measuring the quality of a product. Many custom fabricators focus their marketing strategies to the professionals; such as, architects and interior designers, who drive the decision-making process for their clients. This absence from mainstream advertising does not lessen their high quality position in the marketplace. But, the perception is that the lack of a nationwide presence = a lesser quality product. And that's a Thorny Issue! The only way to nullify this perceived inequity is to educate the consumer.
