DescriptionMifSave is a shareware plugin for FrameMaker that saves all files in a book in Maker Interchange Format (MIF). MifSave uses the MIF filter provided by FrameMaker, so the resulting MIF files will be the same as if you had individually saved each document as MIF. MifSave simply adds the convenience of saving all files with a single command. Each MIF file is saved in the same directory as the corresponding document or book file. MIF filenames are created as follows:
As each file is saved, the name appears in the status line at the bottom of the book window. UsageIn the book window, choose the File menu command: File > Utilities > Save all files as MIF Installation1. Copy both files, the .txt and .dll, to your maker\fminit\plugins directory. 2. When you restart FrameMaker, the new menu command will be available. CompatibilityMifSave works with FrameMaker 7.0 through 9.0 on Windows.
