Long before I became a computer artist, I had studied illustration through traditional mediums at an art school on the east coast (the Rhode Island School of Design). There I learned about the trade and became proficient with the necessary tools and skills. For twelve years I was a freelance illustrator working in the various of markets of commercial art: Editorial (magazines and newspapers), Institutional (images for the needs of business), Advertising, Books, and Portraits.
