Welcome to The primary researcher for this project has been Larry McGill. A lot of the research was also provided by Warren Sadler and Barbara Rush. Dorene Kewley, Don McGill, and Bruce McGill have also done some of the research. Valuable information has been provided by many people including Carolyn Doerr, Jan Edwards, June McGill, and Geneve Waddel. Each of the data pages lists one set of parents and their children. There are arrows on each page. The up arrows lead to the previous generation for that indivdual. The down arrows lead to the next generation. The left and right arrows lead to a continuation of the current generation; generally when a person has had more than one spouse. The List of McGill Family Members is an alphabetical listing of all the people included in this family tree. Members are listed by the surname they were born with (eg. maiden name). Clicking on a name will take you to a page that shows the part of the family tree where that person appears. It will, generally, be the page where that person is shown as one of the children. Background information is included for some of the family members. If so, a "Bio" button A "history" of the family is also included. It begins with folklore about the origin of the Celts. It then gives a short history of what is actually known about the Celts, and how they came to Scotland.
