Which hand do you wipe with?
I did my business at work today and realized I wipe with my right hand. I was wondering if this is because I was taught by my dad who is right handed or if there is some subconscious reason I don't wipe with my dominant hand; the hand that I eat with. I'm left handed by the way.
I tried wiping with my left hand and fell off the toilet. I'm sure I could do it with some more practice but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort. Especially since it may be an evolutionary safety feature that has been built in to save us from eating fecal matter. Although now it doesn't matter because I wash my hands... most of the time anyway.
If I could learn to do it with both hands I bet I would be the worlds only ambidextrous butt wiper. I mean, seriously, who else has ever cared enough to wipe with both hands? Then I could work on wiping with both hands in both directions. How sweet would that be?!?! Right now I'm right handed back to front. I'm only using 25% of the possible combinations here. I'm not sure why I'm back to front either. Do I do it simply because I'm a man and can with out fear of infection? Maybe. Doesn't this increase my chances of getting fecal matter in my ball sac? Possibly. Or maybe I should get a new job where I have less free time to ponder the psychological and evolutionary aspects of butt wiping.
