I have created a Windows XP commandline utility that allows one to record from the Motorola 620x (using the meidvhs drivers). It can be useful to people who want a simple commandline utility to be included in recording scripts. The utility can be downloaded from the following link:
where: filesize is in megabytes recordingtime is in minutes extension is .ts, .tp, etc
example: dctrecord.exe -s 100 -t 90 -f movie.ts
The filesize argument will limit the maximum size that a file will grow to before a the file is closed and a new file is opened for recording. All files wll have a format of filename_nnn.extension, where nnn is a sequential number from 000 to 999.
Please let me know if you have any problems with it. The Windowed application which integrates with Zap2it and allows clicking of a program on a web page to schedule or launch a recording using the Motorola 620x is also avialable in beta form. This is similar to what is available today with MyHD or Hipix and TitanTV.
Also included is the source code for dctrecord.exe. It is built using Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0. DirectX/DirectShow developer libraries and APIs are needed to build it.
