Fujimamas Restaurant

Our special thanks to Mark Vann, co-owner and Chef of Fujimamas Restaurant located between the Harajuku and Omotesando districts of Tokyo, Japan, for his gracious hospitality. We stumbled upon Mark's restaurant tucked away on a small side street while on an evening shopping trip to the Oriental Bazaar. Our conversation with our delightful server brought Chef Mark to our table - as a professional chef, myself, I'm always enthused to meet the person who makes it all happen in the kitchen and in Mark's restaurant that sure is the case. My only disappointment was an invitation from Mark to cook with him in his kitchen while I was in Japan - an opportunity that time didn't permit - someday if I ever return to Tokyo, I would thoroughly enjoy that opportunity. Fujimamas is an excellent choice when you visit Tokyo.
