Sayonara! Japan – The Fulbright delegation of 200 teachers represented all 50 states and the District of Columbia. On October 23rd, they departed Japan from Narita Airport in Tokyo enriched by their recent experiences and newly acquired knowledge. On long flights connecting through five major United States’ airports, they reflected on the opportunities that they were provided and prepared to reenter their communities and their schools. With memories of an ancient history and a kind people, these educators prepared to help others share in the uniqueness of their experiences and achieve a broader and deeper view of the world. |
