Assist state agencies with migration from Banyan network services to Windows 2000 based platforms. Design and implement new technology to enhance core services for State technology users.

Head of Network Operations: Directed and maintained all network resources for the company which included 8 business operations across the country as well as the corporate office located in Plano TX. Managed the network operations support staff.
· Developed a migration path for upgrade of servers to Windows 2000 and Exchange 2000. Implemented the first 2 servers.
· Managed a WAN consisting of 10 nodes using Cisco Routers. Worked with data circuit vendors for circuit installation and timely resolution of circuit outages.

· Implemented a company wide backup plan using Veritas Backup Exec. Ensured remote tape rotations were preformed and managed off site backup storage.
