Ruth bought the 80-acre farm in 1916 for $12,000. Most of the farmland has been sold off and developed; there is a Babe Ruth Drive in the neighborhood. The house is not a museum -- real people still live there -- so be polite. They also have a large barking dog. To get to Dutton Road you turn the corner at a great place to have lunch, historic Wayside Inn (off Rte. 20/Boston Post Rd.).
