Services Offered

First of all, let us say that we do not believe in getting involved in areas where we are not totally qualified. Nor do we offer services just so that we can increase our fees. Our main area of expertise is in RESIDENTIAL BUILDING* (along with most commercial and some light industrial construction).

In addition, we also offer the following services:

-         NEW HOME INSPECTION: For the person who wants an unbiased, walk-through inspection listing shortcomings that be utilized on newly constructed homes, additions, remodeling (kitchen, bath), etc. This is usually done prior to closing on final payment.

-         PROBLEM ASSESSMENT: This inspection focuses on one specific area of concern (such as cracks, water in the basement, roof condition, etc.) and observes, describes and makes recommendations concerning same.

-         COST ANALYSIS: A cost breakdown and/or an explanation of what a certain modification or repair should cost on the open market. Job specification could be included in this area, so as to attain an “apples to apples” bid comparison.

-         EXPERT WITNESS AND/OR CONSULTATION: If you have a construction problem and can't get anyone (a contractor, builder, building official, etc.) to respond or help, give us a call. We can direct you through the very effective channels available to you. We know the right buttons to push. As a last alternative, we can offer an expert witness in your behalf.

-         FHA 203-K MORTGAGE INSPECTIONS

-         CLASSES: For residential builders (pre-licensure), home inspectors (including in field training), and construction cost estimating (made easy) are available at miscellaneous schools or private tutoring. Call for more details!
