Nicole

 I loved once and got a broken heart

She will always mean everything to me

Although we fought I loved her with all

My heart, her smile is gone but she is not

My sister is gone only by body her soul and

Spirit, still is here in her bedroom where she

Sleeps, eating dinner at the table watching

t.v. With us, flying free with others she might

Know I will always love you Nicole.

Poem written by Heather, after Nicole's death

Life

There is so much silence

Even the wind

The only thing I can feel or hear

Is my sister within

As I talk to her

I hear a bird talk too

When I bring flowers to her grave

I think I see her, but I don’t

It is just a little girl

Looking for her Mom

As I leave I think how long I have?

Poem written by Heather a few months later

A poem written by Heather, on the 2nd Anniversary of Nicole's passing

Long time

Its been a long time since I have seen u

But I have not forgotten u

I Miss Ur smile and every time I want to see u

I start to cry to think that I will never get to

Tell u secrets, sister’s secrets

And how I will never get to see u grow old

It’s been a long time since I have seen u

But I want u to know that I will never stop

Loving u and missing u

I hope u know this… I will see u once again

Don’t forget that<3 sis I love you with all of my heart

This goes to my sister Nicole

December 15,1985-May 12,2001

Coley I love u I can’t wait to see u

A poem that I found on the web.  It was written by Nicole's friend, Megan Hogan.   It's beautiful.

In Memory....

Nicole Marie Chicarello

*God saw she was getting tired*
*And a cure was not to be*
*So he put his arms around her*
*And whispered come with me*
*With tearful eyes we watched her suffer*
*And saw her fade away*
*Although we loved her dearly*
*We could not make her stay*
*A golden heart stopped beating*
*Hard working hands to rest*
*God broke our hearts to prove to us*
*He only takes the best*

-::-Somewhere out there-::-
-::-Beneath the pale moon light-::-
-::-Someone's thinking of me-::-
-::-And loving me tonight-::-

-::-Somewhere out there-::-
-::-Someone's saying a prayer-::-
-::-That we'll find one another-::-
-::-In the big somewhere out there-::-

-::-And even though I know how very far apart we are-::-
-::-It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star-::-

-::-And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby-::-
-::-It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky-::-

-::-Somewhere out there-::-
-::-If love can see us through-::-
-::-Then we'll be together, somewhere out there-::-
-::-Out where dreams come true-::-

I lost a great friend a short while ago,
How much I miss her doesn't always show.
She was only fifteen - she didn't deserve to die,
It hurts so much that I couldn't say goodbye.

I miss the way she laughed,
And her precious smiling face.
No matter how hard anyone tried,
She could never be replaced.

We grew up side by side,
Laughing and having so much fun.
She showed me what a best friend was,
She was my first one.

As we got older,
We grew apart.
But that didn't matter,
'Cause we were sisters at heart.

Our last few visits,
Are special to me.
I can't relive them,
But they are in my memory...

<3 Love you Nicole, You're our Angel ~*(\i/)*~

Here is another poem that Heather wrote in January of 2004

That one last time!

As you take your last breath

And put your head down one

Last time, I think about those

Days we spent not fighting

But joking about people walking

By, the things we had in common

As you take your last breath

And put your head down one

Last time, I want you to know

That we love you, and we all

Think that you were our little

Angel, the one who made everything

Better, brighter, and happier

As you take your last breath

And put your head down one

Last time, I look at those pictures

Of me and you sitting in a chair

Just loving each other till the end of time

As you take your last breath

And put your head down one

Last time, I hear you tell me that

You love me, and your scared to

See what it’s like on the other side…

And then its over, not saying the things

I need to share; like guys, school, and life!

Someone told me that in a picture you only

See the good times, you never see the hard

Times it took to get to those pictures!

NICOLE MARIE CHICARELLO I KNOW THAT YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN AND WE STILL PRAY EVERYNIGHT TO SEE YOUR SMILE AGAIN! 12/15/85-5/12/01
