Have you ever had to
replace one of your Electric Window Regulators? You're
driving along and the window suddenly drops down a few
inches, or all the way down. This problem has occurred on
my GM vehicles (Buick, Pontiac) so much I carry a roll of
blue tape (Generally used for masking doing painting) in
my trunk.
In our publication you will
discover how we use this tape.
You take your car to the
dealer or auto repairman you went into shock after they
told you what it cost to replace the window regulator.
These repairs can cost anywhere from $350.00 to over
$500.00.
We have had to replace 5 of
our own vehicle window regulators this past year. Yikes!
Our cost could have been over
$1,500.00...............unbelievable.
Our neighbors and friends are
happy. We have saved them well over $1,000
Obviously there had to be a
better way. We set out to learn as much as we could about
these on going regulator problems.
There are manuals out there
on automobile repairs, but we never did find detail of a
step by step window regulator replacement. I imagine the
dealers or high priced factory Manuel may contain some
information.
