Academic Achiever Program

Another part of our innovative children's karate curriculum for Life Skills features the Academic Achiever program. This program rewards the junior student with an Academic Achiever STAR Patch for each above average report card that the child brings in to the dojo.

The first time a child brings in a report card, that contains grading that is acceptable to the parents, the child will earn an Academic Achiever Patch to be placed on the sleeve of their uniform jacket. Each report card brought in thereafter will earn the child a red STAR patch to be placed under the Academic Achiever Patch.

The children wear these patches proudly knowing that they have been recognized for accomplishing their goals to succeed in their schoolwork. The child's teachers, parents and karate school are teamed up with making sure that the child is growing stronger in all areas of life, not just the physical aspect of self defense.
