RESERVATIONS: Reservations may be made up to one year in advance. The day you make reservations your deposit is due, either by Visa or MasterCard or you have 7 days to mail a check or money order. The refundable security deposit is $200. The rental balance is due 14 days (two weeks) before your arrival date. No personal checks will be taken less than 14 days before your arrival date. There will be a $25 service charge added to any returned checks.
CANCELLATION POLICIES: Due to holding these reservations and in consideration of the fact that we cannot rent these days to others, we cannot return any payments unless you cancel 30 days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel and the date is greater than 30 days prior to your arrival date we will refund your deposit minus a $50 administration fee. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to your arrival you will forfeit all monies. SORRY, NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY DEPARTURE OR DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS. Chains or four-wheel drive are recommended in winter months in the event of inclement weather.
LINENS AND FURNISHINGS: The chalet offers a fully equipped kitchen. Bed linen and blankets are provided for each bed. Bath towels and bath cloths are furnished. Please do not take any of the chalet's towels to the pool.
PETS AND SMOKING: ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED! No Exceptions - Please understand we simply cannot allow pets. If an unapproved pet is found in the chalet you may be evicted without refund and /or charged a penalty plus the real cost of any damages. If evidence of a pet is found after your stay you will be charged $200.00.. This is a SMOKE-FREE home. If you have to light up, please do it outside.
OCCUPANCY: Cottage Gardens 970 is limited to 4 adults. Occupancy is limited to families, married couples and adults (minimum age 21).
CHECK-IN: Check-in time is after 4:00PM.
DEPARTURE: Check-out time is 10:00AM. Please adhere to this policy so that we may have time to prepare the chalet for the next guests.
Before departure, we respectfully request that you:
*Dispose of all trash and food from home, place in outside receptacles.
*Wash all dishes, or place in dishwasher and begin cycle.
*Turn off all televisions, stereo and lights.
*Lock all windows and doors.
*Leave heat set on 62 in the winter and air on 78 in the summer.
*Please leave the chalet in a reasonable condition and our housekeeper will do the rest.
*Make a final inspection of the home. We make every effort to locate and return lost items but cannot be responsible for things that we can't find. When you leave something behind, call us and we will return it C.O.D. if we find it.
MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS: If a situation occurs after hours and is not an emergency, please wait until the next day to report it. Every effort will be made to correct the situation as soon as possible. No refund or rate adjustment will be made for mechanical failures.
THERMOSTAT: Please do not leave the heating or air ON with the windows or doors open.
TRASH: Household garbage should be placed in plastic trash bags and put in the outside receptacles located on the street right below us.
TELEPHONES: Please feel free to use the telephones. The phone line has a long distance restriction that prevents direct dialing; however, a calling card or collect call may still be placed.
