This Web page used to be for the Mountain Middle School View Chess Team. but my kids graduated and moved up! So now it is focused on the Newberg Chess Club. The NCC is open for all ages and abilities, including students.
Players can find information about joining the club and it's activities. There are also links to chess book and equipment vendors, as well as other local, regional, and national resources. Visitors will most likely be interested in the news about the tournaments the club puts on or goes to.

The Mountain View team got 2nd at Regionals at the Delphian School. The club needs a new leader. I'm outta here. Please contact the principa.l. Last three years were great! You can now play Thursdays 7 to 9 pm in the CPRD Senior Center 101 N. Foothills (near Crater Elem). Any chess players, regardless of age, school, are welcome. Bring your chess set and clock !
