Bendersville Wood Crafts, founded in 1970, is a family owned and operated business. We emphasize quality construction and superb customer service and have the experience to back it up.

Lloyd Shelleman, founder of the company, has been a professional cabinetmaker since 1963 as both craftsperson and manager of commercial furniture manufacturing operations, a teacher of cabinetmaking to high school and adult students, and as the operator of Bendersville Wood Crafts. Doris Ann Shelleman, Lloyd's wife, has been involved in all aspects of operations since Bendersville Wood Crafts was founded.

David Shelleman, their son, has learned the craft of cabinetmaking and finishing by working at the family business since he was in high school. He attended Penn State until 1989 when he became an active partner in his parents' business. In 1992 he studied kitchen and bath design through a program offered by the National Kitchen and Bath Association.

Because we are a small company and family owned, you will experience the highest level of customer service as we work with you on your project. Unlike the national "big box" chain retailers where you are only a nameless number, as our customer we will work with you on all aspects of your cabinetry project from start to finish. We are not satisfied until you are satisfied. This is what makes us different. We do business the old-fashioned way and look forward to meeting with you to discuss your project.
