The Willimantic Victorian Neighborhood Society - Home of a sort of historic preservation group active in the Willimantic area, and a site I had a hand in designing, This is primarily a group of homeowners that own some of the many Victorian Era houses in Willimantic, Connecticut- an area that shockingly enough has as many of these relic houses per capita as San Francisco. Only recently has the town seen fit to take an interest in saving these beautiful houses from decay through community interest and private restoration- not unlike the process I have been following through with my own house.
