Nearly every artist or art movement throughout history has had one, some mission statement or indication of what goals and ideals drive that entity. This portion of the site deals with the ideas that drive me, and those projects that I consider to be "in-progress" as a result of those changing expectations. All of this is personal work, things done whenever there's time to spare. They are curiosities, explorations and learning experiences.

The Werks in Progress section is pretty straightfoward in meaning. It's offered here with ony one disclaimer: I seldom consider any work "finished" as I feel it can always be reborn or remixed into something more relevant to my ideals at present, with some ideas being salvaged and perhaps some discarded. Thus, every work is a work in progress. While this can be both a confining and liberating fact of the creative effort, I see it as more of a strength than a weakness- to see the the future in the present.

Whimsies describes those fleeting thoughts, ideas and other information structures that bloom, die and are reborn again from instant to instant. They inspire, drive, or merely provoke thought, often enough.
