These are some pics from the Belgian and Dutch F-16 demonstration teams, along with some static display shots.

Used a Nikon D200 w/ a 70-300mm VR lens, and D50 w/ a 18-105mm VR lens.

Static view of a F-16 Fighting Falcon (aka Viper; less flattering known as the 'lawn dart').

First up was the Netherlands (Dutch) F-16 demonstration.

The Dutch Air Force operates over 200 F-16s.

The show was quite different than that put on by the West Coast Viper F-16 Demo. My general impression is that they use a lot more smoke in the routine.

Head-on view of the F-16.

The Dutch F-16 taxis by the Thunderbirds.

That's Captain Ralph 'Shiek' Aarts doing the demo.

This is the Belgian Air Force F-16.

Flying the demonstration is Michel 'Mitch' Beulen.

I love this shot of the F-16 at take off. You can almost feel the energy!

Up, Up,...

...and away!

Like the Dutch demo, the Belgian F-16 used a lot of smoke in the routine.

Here he is spiraling straight up!

Keeping his nose up after landing. Sort of like a 'wheelie'! (I have to work on keeping the horizon level)
