BZ's Nellis '08 - Heritage Flight

Photo Gallery

A P-51D Mustang joined up with the F-15E and F-22 for the Heritage Flight. The Heritage flight flies today's fighters in close formation with older WWII, Korean, and Vietnam era fighters. Not only does it display the evolution of airpower, but it pays tribute to all those who fought and sacrificed in those past conflicts.

Used a Nikon D200 w/ a 70-300mm VR lens.

These planes can be considered the premiere past, present, and future U.S. fighters!

Here's an attractive pose as they fly by in review.

In this shot, they are almost directly overhead. The F-22 and F-15 are about the same size, but huge compared to the P-51!
