The Alaska Air National Guard KC-130R takes off.

The KC-130 has the ability to do a probe-and-drogue refueling. Hence the 'K' part.

The drogue refueling hoses are deployed here.

Mostly the Marines and Navy which uses this style of air to air refueling.

Here are the Wings of Blue skydivers jumping out of the KC-130.

The Wings of Blue demonstration team is from the US Air Force Academy and consists of 12 parachutists.

Wasn't in really good position to catch the landings, but some of them did pass overhead quite closely.

They were flying flags representing different branches of the armed forces. This one the Army.

Notice the smoke canisters on the shoes...

The KC-130R comes to a quick stop after landing, to demonstrate the short field capabilities.

Slowing the shutter way down, I get a full prop blur. A VR lens helps.

The C-130 Hercules transport has been a reliable workhorse for over 50 years! Still a pretty cool looking design!
