The Red Bull Mig 17 sits ready before the show.

A couple of Red Bull paragliders twirl and hang about in the air in gravity defying fashion.

Some parachute jumpers fall from a Red Bull helicopter as another Red Bull plane circles.

The Red Bull helicopter is a BO-105 CBS, which can perform loops, barrel rolls, flips, and things most helicopters could not do.

Have to shoot at a relatively slow shutter speed to get that pleasing rotor blur. Percentage of keepers are really low when I do that!

The Zivko Edge 540 flies in the Red Bull air races, but does some aerobatics here.

This is of course, the Red Bull Mig-17. You can see a bit of the afterburner flame here.

Sometimes described as a bic lighter, the Mig-17 afterburner is one way to distinguish it from the earlier Mig-15. The Mig-17 races the Air Force jet car later on. You can see those pictures under the Jet car page.

The Red Bull Grumman Albatross did not fly, but I did catch it taxiing at the end of the day.
