BZ's Nellis '08 - Trainers

Photo Gallery

Quite a few propeller and jet trainers took to the sky early on in the show.

Used a Nikon D200 w/ a 70-300mm VR lens.

An exciting view of the trainers as they taxi out.

A pair of T-28 Trojans fly by in close formation.

The T-33 Shooting Star, 'Ace Maker' makes a pass.

A pair of AT-6s starting to bank.

The T-28 was used as a trainer in the 50s and 60s by the Air Force and Navy.

A nice shot of the T-6s as they do a fly by.

Here's a pair of lesser known Beechcraft T-34 Mentors. (took me a while to look it up!)

The T-6 performed as a basic trainer in WWII and after.

Good job!

The T-34s taxi in after landing.

A head-on shot of the T-28 Trojan.

I love the paint scheme on this Trojan. Ever watch Robotech or Macross? Anyone?

Beautifully polished T-33.

Another handsome angle for the T-33. You can see an aerobatic plane taking off in the background.

The 'AceMaker', technically a Canadair CT-33 Silver Star. Close enough!
