a few of the many things to see and experience at the fair
greetings from an animated horse as we enter the fair grounds... Prize Cows the two boys agreed to pose for a picture with their prize cows in the back ground... Grand Prize Winner she may be the winner but when I tried to take her picture she'd had enough for one day and decided to lay down... Another Prize Cow at least She didn't lay down when I snapped her picture... One more Cow can you tell I like cows? Last Cow, I Promise! this cow gives the kids hands on experience with milking a cow... So on to the Sheep these sheep are in a pen waiting for their turn in the judges ring... The Judges Ring way off in the distance there is a judge (in white) looking over a sheep... More Sheep waiting for the judge too... Shearing the Sheep did you know it takes two to shear one sheep...at least here it does... Shearing Done the owner checks out his shearing job... "Can I Go Now?" "please release me...set me free... " Prize Sheep sheared, clean and ready for the judges... Time for a Nap "...what's this fair hoop ta la about....anyway..." One Horse the only horse I could get a picture of since I ran out of time...had to be of his back side too...

Victorian Country Christmas at the fair grounds Clydesdale carriage ride Isn't the Clydesdale a beautiflul horse... One lonely Billy Goat poor baby...all alone waiting patiently for his owner... Other things the fair has to offer prize winning produce... Scones scones are the best part of the fair...beside the animals, rides and exhibits of course... Country Music Aside from Country music stations we have live concerts!
Past years included artist like Brooks & Dunn, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill...to name a few
and this year (2006) we have Carrie Underwood from American Idol... Games & Rides... this is one of the entrances to all the games and rides... Chain Saw Carved Bears its amazing how anyone can carve these life like creatures with a chain saw out of a log... More Wood Carvings I think this carving might be a dragon... 4-H Cat Show the cats owners were allowed to decorate their cages in any theme they wanted for a prize... the young owner of this cat used barn animals for her theme...
