This CD is a musical trubute to the late Rev. J. Langston Boyd, whose funeral was held Wed., Sept. 1, 2004 in Denver. He was Pastor of Shorter Community A.M.E. Church here for 26 years. There are two favorites Rev. Boyd would often request, "Blessed Assurance" and "Through It All." The others are songs he would stand and sing in his strong, clear second tenor voice.
