Cat Days Of Christmas
So I figure, if there can be dog days of Summer, there can be Cat Days of Christmas--those times, like right now, when all the shopping has been done, the plans have been made, everything's ready to go...except the calendar has not quite caught up to your state of readiness. That's the deal with me--I'm ready to go, a little bit bored even, just waiting out the last few days of this year. Oh, well, at least the news from overseas has been exciting.

Too Damn Busy
It's been nothing but work for the last six weeks. Hence the lack of new postings. Oh, and the Phillies won the World Series.

Well, OK, that was exciting. And unexpected, to be sure. But I didn't even feel like I had a chance to celebrate it so much, because I'm doing that eleven hour work/commute day again, at least for another week at this point. Not to mention the guest.
Oh, that's right--the guest. None other than the Maxicat! It's quite an experience when you've never had a cat living in your place and then, bang, you have a cat living in your place. It's been delightful, though it's soon to end once Mom moves in to her new place. The Heavily Fortified Bunker will never be the same, but I suppose life will go on. Maybe when there's a new HFB, there will be a new cat, too. No promises, but...
