The Lineup

A listing of shows currently in my regular television rotation. Since some of these run multiple showings for each new episode, check your local listings for air times. This schedule has changed radically since I canceled my cable TV in February (an act I recommend heartily). Where relevant, I will include listings of shows I watch online (some shows are available, full episode, online for free, either on their own site, their channel's site, or via Hulu or some such thing; keep looking).

Sunday

The Simpsons (FOX, 8 PM)

King Of The Hill (FOX 8:30 PM)

Family Guy (FOX, 9 PM)

American Dad (FOX, 9:30 PM)

Monday

PTI (ESPN; normally runs Mon-Fri, 2:30 Pacific Time; frequently pre-empted)
(I catch this via podcast; no video, only audio version)

The Daily Show (Comedy Central; normally runs Mon-Thu at 11pm, and repeated ad nauseum until the next broadcast) Episodes available online: comedycentral.com

The Colbert Report (Comedy Central; normally runs Mon-Thu at 11:30pm, and repeated ad nauseum until the next broadcast) Episodes available online: comedycentral.com

Tuesday

Nada.

Wednesday

Mythbusters (Discovery Channel, 9 PM; repeats frequently throughout the week, premieres and reruns)

South Park (Comedy Central, 10 PM) Episodes available online: www.southparkstudios.com

Thursday

The Sarah Silverman Program (Comedy Central, 10:30 PM; this one is downloadable from iTunes at least--maybe episodes viewable online as well)

Friday

Everybody Hates Chris (The CW, 8 PM)

Dollhouse (FOX, 9PM)

NOW (PBS, check local listings; repeats frequently, especially if your local PBS outlet has a suite of digital channels)

Bill Moyers' Journal (PBS, check local listings; same as above)

Saturday

America's Test Kitchen (PBS, check local listings)

Cooks' Country (PBS, check local listings)

The Departed

Some shows are gone, but in no way forgotten. Since lots of shows live on as repeats long after their cancellation--standard issue cable procedure--and everything goes to DVD these days, don't forget to keep an eye out for these titles.

Survivorman (Discovery Channel)
