Simple, subtlety-flavored soup.
Ingredients:
1 64-oz can of tomato juice
1 large onion
1 tsp whole cumin seeds
1 tsp whole mustard seeds
1 Tbsp curry powder
Heat pot without oil (don't let it burn!). Add whole seeds when hot and when they begin to pop, add a little oil, the onion and curry powder. Fry until the onion is transparent and pour in the tomato juice. Simmer for about an hour until the metallic taste is gone.
