Something's fishy here!

The health of the oceans has been slowly getting more attention in recent years. People have been starting to realize that the oceans do not have an endless supply of resources. Seafood are the last wildlife to be harvested commercially, and many seafood populations are severely overharvested. Management is generally poor and high bycatch (the killing of unwanted species) is routine. The good news is that there are some relatively abundant, well-managed, low-impact species of seafood. Some are recovering after significant overharvesting and others are farmed in environmentally-friendly ways.
