| Zydeco Zity signs welcomes you to the Dutch 11th International Cajun Zydeco Festival in Raamsdonksveer, Holland. (A little over an hour south of Amsterdam.) | New this year was the second, and larger, auxiliary music and dining building - Eddie's Tire Service -- paying tribute to Eddie LeJeune, renown Cajun musician from Louisiana who died in January 2001 |

|
| The Eddie's Tire Service building is decorated both outside and inside with artifacts of an old garage resembling an era structure. Eddie ran a garage back in Louisiana | One would think they are actually entering a real garage rather than the stage, dining area, bar of Eddie's Tire Service. Pull up a tire and sit down. |

| Des Fais Do Do are probably most responsible for the idea of Eddie's Tire Service as they previously produced a popular CD with that title as a tribute to Eddie LeJeune. This Dutch band has visited the states and are considered ambassadors of Cajun music. | The water tower marks the House of Blues, the other entertainment, drinking building. Slightly smaller than Eddie's Tire Service it was the original "outside the Cajun Barn" building [main structure]. It is heavily used for performances, particularly between band changes at the main stage. |

|
| This year, entrance to both the House of Blues and Eddie's Tire Service was FREE to the general public. This action helped attract local area people and interested them in attending the main part of the festival that was taking place in the Cajun Barn. | The River Zydeco Band (NL) is the host band of the festival and is responsible for getting everything started eleven years ago. Here Jo (middle) and Wil (right) are joined by a new sax player (FNU) as they play during their new Zydeco Zity CD release party that was held on Thursday evening. [other members next photo] |

| Cees, Sandra and Teun are some additional members. Drummer Frits is hiding somewhere. | This year Austrian song stylist Sandra Kraft joined the River Zydeco band during performances to sing some songs. Several were Lisa Haley inspired. |
