This is a multi-level bike garage. Bikes are everywhere in Amsterdam A closer view of the bike parking stalls.

Most people just leave bikes parked on the street. Locked of course. I can't imagine how, after parking your bike and going to work, you ever find your bike again. These people have been looking for three days.

The Royal Palace [Het Koninklijk Paleis te Amsterdam] located at Dam Square in the center of the city. Damrak, one of the main streets starts at the front door of the train station. Lots of shopping behind buildings on right. Redlight District on left. Notice how shady it is.

Damrak is the first street where the tourists go. Cars and bikes line up waiting to run them over. Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum located at the Dam.

Here is where Amsterdam's wax jobs are. Outdoor cafe at the Dam Square along side the Nieuwe Kerk (New Church).
