The highly visible Saint Nicolas Church with one of the ubiquitous bridges and canals.	There are more canals in Amsterdam than in Venice, Italy.

Houseboat living on the canals is quite trendy.	Many housboats line the canal walls.

There is a minimum of canal traffic other than tour boats and small pleasure craft. I suppose no one wants to loose their parking place.	Thanks to all the bridges you can get around quite easily. Most cars have to stick to the main streets.

There are evening parties on many of the houseboats.	There are many sea locks in the canals.

Here comes a canal tour boat.	One does not throw things off bridges into the openings of tour boats.
