WINE -- CARRY-ON
Thank you to Glenda Sammons from New Orleans for noticing
that the Carnival info says only
one bottle of wine is allowed for carry-on,
when my letter said 2 is OK. I was wrong.
The rule used to be two bottles and they have just changed
it to one bottle. However, the cruise line is aware that not everyone knows about this change and therefore we
do not know how uptight they are going to be in terms of scanning for bottles or confiscating them if you have
more than one.
Bottom line: One bottle is safe to bring in your carry-on
bag (do NOT pack it in your normal luggage), and the 2nd bottle is definitely at your own risk. Wine only, no hard
liquor! Sorry about this.
Just an idea -- You can also probably work it out in advance
with your friends or family to carry on your second bottle for you if they don't have one for themselves already.

NEXT YEAR'S CRUISE -- ZYDECOCRUISE 2008
Zydeco Cruise 2008 Newsflash!
We are thrilled to announce Zydeco Cruise 2008 from November
2 to November 9, 2008, departing from Galveston, TX on the beautiful Carnival Conquest, to Jamaica, Grand Cayman,
and Cozumel. Dance under the stars to the m usic of Geno Delafose & French Rockin' Boogie, and Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys
once again!
Zydeco 2007 cruisers: Look for the on-board "early bird specials"
we'll be offering on the ship exclusively for you. If you're not sailing with us in 2007, watch the website for 2008 pricing -- coming very soon.
Pricing starts at just $430 per person/double for an inside cabin plus $203 port charges + $200 for the week long
music and dance package (cabin pricing can go up as the ship fills, the $200 never goes up). In 2007 this ship
is full to capacity and Carnival's prices have gone up up up in the past couple of months -- don't wait to reserve
your space for 2008, as early bookings are always the best deal by far! All bookings for Zydeco Cruise 2008 are
through our exclusive travel agent, the Travel Machine, Inc. in Louisiana. They can be contacted at 1-800-683-9882
or info@travelmachine.net

Everyone’s packet from the Travel Machine
containing cruise tickets & documents, their name badge, and other cruise information is on its way.

Cruise Tickets: PLEASE CHECK
THE TICKETS AND YOUR NAME BADGE
for mistakes immediately when things arrive.
For ticket or document problems contact Kermit@travelmachine.net and for name badge problems please contact Carol
at zydecocruise@aol.com
IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR
TICKET PACKET BY 10/23, please
contact the Travel Machine directly and let them know.
The Houston Airport Shuttle info, bus tickets if you signed up and paid for the New Orleans/Lafayette bus, and
all sort of other details are in there as well.
…………………………………
T-Shirts: I am really really sorry, but I honestly cannot
respond to every single email I received on the t-shirts at this point. Over 150 people called or email me the
last 3 days because they did not send their order form in on time before the 10/15 deadline. If you emailed or
called me, I got it and I ordered you a shirt. If you are coming from the USA you need to send me a check immediately
if you didn’t already. For the people who said for me to call them back for credit card info, we cannot take cards
for these shirts and you still need to send me a check! I am sincerely sorry about this but I have a super busy
full time job during the day and I can’t manage all of the last minute requests for email confirmations. If you
have a different/new question not already answered here please send me an email: zydecocruise@aol.com – thanks for your understanding.
…………………………………
This is already in the FAQ’s – reminders:
Register: on www.carnival.com – you will need your booking number which is in your cruise tickets and it’s also
on your Travel Machine invoice.
Shore Excursions: Sign up in advance online now through 11/3 – you’ll
need your booking 3 for that too. After that you can still sign up on the ship with no problem.
– Carol

an d we'll post the order form online as well. The deadline for us to take T-shirt orders is 10/15/07.

any traffic.
ARRIVAL AND BOARDING IN GALVESTON: You can arrive at the crui se terminal in Galveston, go through security
and enter the waiting area as early as 10:30am but they may not let you on the ship until around noon. Sometimes
earlier (11:30) and sometimes not, depending on when the ship clears customs and how fast they get things cleaned
up from the incoming cruise. Cutoff time to get onto the ship is 3:30pm but we'd recommend not cutting it that
close.
