The Greek Social Scene at Berkeley

Social events dominate the AEPi calendar, and the most common social events fall into four major categories:

We have a bunch of parties every semester, some big and some small, and our largest annual party happens on St. Patrick's Day.

Exchanges are events involving a fraternity and a sorority, and they can be anything from a private party to bowling.

Formals are events where brothers have an opportunity to invite a date to a classy evening in a hotel ballroom, on a yacht, or at some other elegant venue.

Invitationals are parties that take place at a night club, usually in San Francisco, and each brother can extend several invitations.
