Cameron and Tracy's Cabin
My brother Shawn came up over Christmas so I put him to work helping me with the railings.
I thought we would whip them all out in a week but all we got done were the railings in the loft. That is how it goes when you are working on something new.

I spent several more weekends working on the rest of the railings inside and had them pretty much finished up by the middle of May.

In June Tracy and I came up and worked on finishing off the deck railings. We need to get the railings and everything else done before the end of June so I can get the final inspection signed off. Phil is going to visit the last week in June with the plan of working on the floors and I want the final inspection signed off before we start putting down the floors.

Phil came up and helped Tracy and I the week before the 4th to get the wood floor and kitchen tile in on the main level. We also installed some sheet rock over exposed insulation in the basement and finished putting the cultured stone on the wall around the wood stove.

We got our final inspection approved and COO in late July.
Tracy and I came up in early October and started grouting the cultured stone, installed laminate flooring in the basement and finished off the rest of the staining. Of course it snowed on us.

Here's Tracy, Chewy and Max taking 5.

Here is Chewy helping hold the floor down.

We also installed one of our logs as a post in the basement.

I came up in October and grouted the kitchen tile and installed the flooring around the stove pipe.
