Archer's Code

Never draw or shoot your bow when anyone is between you and your target area.

Always be sure that the area in back of you target is clear or has an adequate backstop.

Never allow anyone to retrieve arrows until all arrows have been shot.

Do not overdraw your bow.

If an arrow has even a small crack, throw it away immediately.

No fooling around or horseplay on the shooting line.

Never shoot up into the air or any directions where you might destroy property or endanger life.

An archery set is not a toy, treat it with respect.

Always ask permission to hunt on property owned by others.

Cooperate with gun hunters and others who are interested in sound game management.

Remember your continued enjoyment of archery depends upon everyone following this code.
