Please note that some den site assignments have changed due to late-arriving information on changed numbers of attendees.

What does this mean?
Find your Pack number on the chart under the week you are planning to attend. You will find your den name directly to the right on the chart. The number in parentheses represents the number of boys you have registered (if you're split into multiple dens, add all the numbers together to see how many you have registered).

Each den name starts with a different letter. Those letters correspond to the letters on the map of Camp Ireland. You can look at the map to find out where your den site(s) will be.

Why is my den split up so funny or combined with another pack?
Every year we attempt to make the dens at camp as even as possible. Larger dens can be difficult to accommodate in many ways. Smaller dens can make other activities, such as games, somewhat less fun. We tried to split the larger dens when possible. If it was not possible because the week is full, we tried to go no larger than 12. Large dens might have to be creative to be able to all do the craft at the same time, and to get equal time in the ranges.

In other situations we combined two smaller dens to make a larger den. If you are combined with another pack for camp, we appreciate you working with the other pack leaders to work out how to do the doodle sticks, flags, etc. We hope that your boys have a good time getting to know some boys from another pack.

Please note that if your den is split into two units, you will need to send 4 adults per day to accompany them to their stations. If your den is combined with another den, it will only be necessary to send one adult.

How should we do the flags, doodles, yell, etc. if we are combined with another pack?
Hopefully a leader from the other den will attend the leader meeting and you can talk to each other and work out some details. Maybe you can meet before camp to work on the items together, or you could even decide together to bring some materials to camp and work on the flags and other items together during the morning den site time and lunch time on Monday. You can work on the yell together too, during those times. We won't do official roll call until Tuesday morning.

If you need to contact the other pack and you were not able to connect with each other at the leader meeting, you can call or e-mail Sharon (see contact info page) and ask for the other den's contact person.

Remember to stay positive about this marvelous opportunity to make some new friends, and your boys will see it as a positive experience.
